I absolutely love General Conference! I have been feeling a lot of tension and mean-spiritedness due to the Presidential campaign. I am so enjoying the talks and the peace of the Gospel. And the childrens choir, awesome! Who knew Elder Wirthlin was so hilarious? I feel so lucky to know that Heavenly Father loves me and I have a purpose here on Earth. How do people live without this knowledge?

I agree with everything you said!! It really is such a blessing to get a little break from the "world" you know? I'm sad it is over for another six months.
General Conference was a much needed lift! I love that encouragement to "refocus".
