I got a foreign object in my eye last night, and had to resort to going to the optometrist to have it removed. The object was a piece of my eyeliner pencil, or that's what the doctor thought it looked like. It got stuck under my eyelid, so every time I blinked I scratched my eye. Needless to say, I really freaked my students out!

Ohhhh, OUCHIE!! I can deal with any injury of any kind, but things happening to the eye really freaks me out!!!

oh im so sorry... i got a black eye today at school, punch in the face and all... looks like it hurts...
That looks so painful! Hopefully it heals well. You are looking so good (besides the one eye...) I love reading your blog updates!
